Punta Mita, situated in the Riviera Nayarit, is easily accessible with direct commercial flights from major airports throughout the U.S., Canada, Mexico and Latin America. Adjacent to the Puerto Vallarta International Airport is the Aerotron FBO, which serves private aircrafts. After arriving, the 28-mile ride to Punta Mita is less than 50 minutes by car.

Driving Directions From Licenciado Gustavo Díaz Ordaz International Airport

1. Exit the airport and follow the signs for “Tepic / Guadalajara” which will take you beneath an overpass, bearing to the left like a U-turn.
2. You will be heading north on the “Carretera 200”.
3. Always continue on this main road north, past several small villages such as Las Juntas, Mezcales and Bucerías.
4. After driving approximately 12 miles you will leave the village of Bucerías. Driving up hill, you see three signs with “Tepic, Punta de Mita & Puerto Bahia”. At the next sign with “MARINA Riviera Nayarit”, turn right; this turnoff will take you on an overpass above the main road, heading west.
5. Keep driving on this road another 15 miles, and after a long straight you will see a sign for “Iberostar” and “Playa Mita”. Continue through the intersection and the first Punta Mita entrance will be on your right. The gate agent will give you further directions for Casa Fortuna, Zen Casita 9 or Zen Casita 14 within Punta Mita.
